We are publishing her entry from Canada Day:

    Today I cross the pond!
It is finally time for me to cross that great big pond and see the other side of the world. The European Posse Tour has been in the works for not only the organizers for two years but for me as well. Money saved every pay for the last two years and so much anticipation to get to this day. I am a little nervous but more excited than I can express. I feel like it could bubble over!

I spent last night out on the lake with great friends hosted by Hank and Terri-Lynn on their wonderful boat watching the fireworks in Cobden celebrating Canada Day in style.
The organizers have continued to excite me with all their newsletters and posts on Facebook along with videos about the people I will meet and places I will go that I know I will not be disappointed that I made this decision to attend the EPR 2014. The time and effort these people have taken into making sure everyone will enjoy this experience is amazing.
Check out the website at www.europeanposseride.com.
I have arrived at the airport safe and sound and just waiting to board my flight to Montreal and then to Brussels. I still can’t believe that I am finally going.

Hope all is well in Canada while I am gone. It took a while to get organized this morning — was missing my camera charger but found it just before I left home. My mom and dad stopped in to say a final goodbye. I wasn’t surprised at that at all and would have been disappointed if they hadn’t come to say goodbye. Kyle and the dog also stopped in to say goodbye and Brandon and Kayla stopped by last night to say their fair-wells. So many people wishing me a safe and fun trip. Looking forward to another great adventure.

Next time you hear from me I will be across the big pond!!!!
