Passed away peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 18, 2018 in his 83rd year. Charlie Wilson of Greenwood, beloved husband of 62 years to Pauline Wilson (nee Steege). Father of Steve; Cathy Wren (Allan); and Terry (Connie). Also survived by grandchildren Ashley (Lee) & Katie (Patrick); and Tyler (Rebecca) & Kristin (Colin). Great-grandfather of Hallie, Eli, Lena & Finn; Claire & Parker; and Nash. Son of the late Wesley & Evelyn Wilson (nee Lavendure). Brother of the late Joan Moriarity; Ann Wirth (David); Jimmy Wilson; and Judy England (Neil). Brother-in-law of Waverly Hamilton (late Donald), late Ray Steege (Marilyn), Elizabeth Demers (Maurice), Gail Bucholtz (Stanley), Alice Graveline (late Clarence) and Grant Steege (Heather). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Charlie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Greenwood United Church on Wednesday, November 21 from 1-1:45 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 p.m. Interment of ashes in Greenwood United Cemetery.
