WhitewaterNews.ca has been providing the news for the township since its first issue on June 11, 2014.
As editor, I have been happy with the news I have provided.
However, I know there is so much more going on in the smaller communities within Whitewater Region Township.
My hope is in the new year, people will email me the stories or their ideas. I want to share as much as I can with what`s happening in our smaller communities with all of Whitewater Region Township.
Our online readership is reaching close to 2,000 people. While our counter says 1,067, we know there are a few registered where more than one person reads that issue. We also print out about 70 copies to spread throughout the area. While we realize more people would prefer a hard copy to read, that`s just not possible at this time.
This will be the final hard-copy issue for 2014. I will publish stories online as they become available between Dec. 19 and Jan. 2, 2015.
We will resume our regular weekly schedule starting Jan. 8.
