Of Cobden, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday June 26, 2014 in his 87 year. Clarence McBride, beloved husband of Joyce Laird and by first marriage to the late Eileen Miller. Dear father of Linda (late Ted Humphries); Stewart (Vera) McBride, Darlene (late Bruce Nighbor); Gerald (Dorothy) McBride, Alex (Kathy) McBride, and stepfather of Don (Vicki) Laird, Rob (Frances) Laird and Andy Laird. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Betty Gutz-McBride (late Jim). Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Sunday June 29, 2014. Service was in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Cobden, Monday at 11a.m. Interment Cobden Union Cemetery. Donations to St. Andrews Memorial Fund or Renfrew Victoria Hospital Dialysis unit would be appreciated.
