Claudia Sparling (nee Rath) of Cobden passed away peacefully in Cobden’s Caressant Care Nursing Home, in the presence of her loving family, on Tuesday, January 28 at 102 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Sparling. Dear mother of Keith (Joan Simmons), Harry (Barbara Gutz). Also survived by six grandchildren Jane, Tracey (Dan), Dan (Krista), Shawn (Vicki), Sherri (Tracey), Richard (Jennifer) and 13 great-grandchildren Baylie, Riley, Carly, Katelyn, Alena, Wyatt, Liam, Connor, Matthew, Lauren, Tyler, Justin and Summer. Predeceased by an infant son. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden on Saturday, February 1 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Thence to Grace United Church in Cobden for Service at 3:30 p.m. Spring Interment at Wesley United Cemetery in Pembroke.
