Peacefully, on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Pembroke Regional Hospital, with his loving wife and daughters by his side. Formerly of Haley Station and much loved husband of Patricia Buckwald-McLaughin (nee Yaskolski) and the late Margaret (Peggy) McLaughlin (nee Desaulniers). Son of the late Newton and Effie McLaughlin (nee Bailey). Loving father of Sharon (Ken) Forgeron of St. Catharines, Lynn (Mark) Forgeron of Kitchener, Debra McLaughlin of Mississauga, and the late Valerie McLaughlin, step-children Kevin Buckwald of Kitchener, Randy Buckwald of Alberta, and Shawn (Jill) Buckwald of Pembroke. Proud Grandpa of Luc (Laura) Forgeron, Maggie Forgeron, Bailey Forgeron, Shaw Forgeron, Zach Gorman, Mitch (Myranda) Gorman, and step-grandchildren Travis Buckwald, Adrianna and Evan Kuenzler, and Kelsey Buckwald. Also survived by great-grandchild Gigi Forgeron. Dear brother of Lula MacKenzie (late Ken) of Nepean, and Hazel Hawthorn (late Harold) of Foresters Falls. Predeceased by brother Gordon (late Rosemary) and Edna Moore (late Alvin). Survived by in-laws Ted (Sue) Desaulniers of Mexico, Jean (Jim) Taylor of Pickering, Shirley (Andrew) Yantha, Patrick (Audrey) Yaskolski, Joe (Barb) Yaskolski, all of Barry’s Bay, Theresa (Basil) Yaskolski of Bancroft, and Loretta (Laurin) Jones of Pembroke. Clifford is survived by nieces and nephews. Friends were invited to share their memories of Clifford with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella St, Pembroke on Tuesday and before the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, which was celebrated in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, 188 Renfrew St, Pembroke on Wednesday August 12. Interment at Rosebank Cemetery, Haley Station, where he will be laid to rest with Peggy and Valerie.
