COBDEN – Cobden District Public School Students expressed their feelings with Covid-19 in other ways, as well. Special Education teacher Lorraine Hamilton shared a recent assignment with Whitewater news, where students write about their experience under the coronavirus pandemic.

I have been having so much fun with my family. I have been doing a lot of fishing, 4-wheeling, and swimming.

I have learned to cut the grass on the riding lawn mower from my Dad. I love this! I like to sleep in in the mornings then get up and water the garden if it’s not raining!

I am happier now in June rather than March because I can visit my neighbours as long as I keep my distance! I also am happy I can have sleepovers at my Nana and Papa’s house.

I am glad none of my family was sick and I hope everyone else I know is staying healthy.
