COBDEN — The 19th annual Terry Fox Run was held at Logos Land, just outside of Cobden, Sunday, Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The 90 people who participated enjoyed a walk, or run, through the trails at Logos Land. Many did admit they were surprised by the new trail this year — but were happy with it.
Bonnie Helferty, who has organized the event since it began, noted this year $5,332 was raised, which also included the t-shirt sale. Adding this amount to the last 18 years, the Cobden Terry Fox Run has raised $106,083.16.
“I am very happy with the event,” she said.
The two Donnie’s were manning the barbeque again this year…Donnie Rathwell and Donnie Helferty.
Next year, there could be a few surprises for the 20th anniversary.
