Saturday, July 19: Family Fun Day at Ross Museum in Foresters Falls, noon to 4 p.m. Events include history hunt, heritage games and crafts and museum tours. Come and take a step back in time. Enjoy an ice cream treat and cold drink. Free. Everyone Welcome.
Sunday, July 20: Decoration Service at Howard Cemetery, Foresters Falls, 2 p.m. In the event of rain or extreme heat, the service will be held in Trinity United Church, Foresters Falls
REGISTER NOW: The Cobden & District Civitan Club’s 19th Annual Tournament and Dinner will be at the Oaks of Cobden on Friday, Aug. 1. The Charity Golf Scramble and dinner consists of two 18-hole tournaments with the first tee times starting at 7 a.m. and the second at 11:20 a.m. $10,000 Hole-in-One prize. Delicious roast beef supper will be served at the Oaks from Noon to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $75 which includes 18 holes of golf, cart & dinner. Proceeds donated to local community services.
