FORESTERS FALLS — Congratulations to Joe Kowalski, owner of Ottawa City Rafting in Ottawa.
The company was awarded the New Company of the Year for Ottawa Tourism. The tourism awards were presented last Thursday evening in Ottawa.
Mr. Kowalski is also owner of Wilderness Tours in Foresters Falls and the publisher/owner of www.whitewaternews.ca
In his publisher’s corner last week Mr. Kowalski wrote: Canada has changed and so must we. We are an urban nation and it is harder to get people to leave the city to come rafting in Whitewater Region. Last year we started Ottawa City Rafting and we are nominated as the “Best New Tourism Company” in Ottawa. We are honoured by the nomination.
