Reeve Regier said that the County of Renfrew will “hopefully” given Declaration of Authority, which she said that they were “very excited about it.”

She also said that the Forestry Division for Renfrew County was already marking the Beachburg Tract trees for removal in 2022.

She also said there was a Federal program called “Growing Canada’s Forests” that sought to plant a billion trees, that the Watershed Council should consider.

She said that the Algonquin Trail would be going forward with the stone-dusting from Renfrew to Chalk River in 2022.

Councillor Olmstead wished the council a happy St. Patrick’s day.

Councillor McLaughlin said that the Whitewater Library Board was having a raffle, with tickets for $3 a ticket.

Councillor Nicholson said that the Senior’s Task Force had its meeting, that would come to Council, saying he was ‘happy they were identifying needs’ for seniors.

He also announced that EORN was going to make a formal announcement about cell tower trackability on Friday, March 19th, at 11:30am.

Mayor Moore thanked the Public Works for their “dedicated works” dealing with recent flooding.
