PEMBROKE — The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP is investigating after two separate instances of counterfeit $100 American bank notes being used in the City of Pembroke. The counterfeit notes were used to pay for food deliveries on February 10 and 11.

With the discovery of counterfeit money in the area, the OPP reminds all residents and businesses to perform their due diligence when paying or accepting payment in cash.
