Nice interesting read. We have come a long way in farming. What ‘words’ would describe the methods of farmers involved in the change of farming. The modern day techniques of increasing the acreage, and treating and modifying the soil. It is a world-wide phenomena looking at the various ways to make farming, including livestock production, a money making and a competitive industry. We are seeing Africa in the running, and Brazil taking leading steps to become ‘large’ and compete with America and Russia. The bottom line though, we still need to have precipitation to water our fields and livestock. That being said, what will farming look like in another 100 years. What ‘words’ will describe the farming process, then versus now.
