PETAWAWA — In recognition of the County of Renfrew’s Child Care Integration Services support to the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC), the Board of Directors invited Manager of Child Services for the County, Judy Mulvihill to their annual general meeting to accept the PMFRC Community Partner Award.
Selina Robb, Chair of the PMFRC Board of Directors commended the Child Care Integration Service by saying, “Over the past number of years, Integration Services has provided invaluable support to families of children with special needs. Specifically, Integration Services has provided resources, direct support to children, and their families and retro fits to existing child care operations….We are so pleased to offer this Community Partner Award in recognition of these services.”
Manager of Child Services, Judy Mulvihill said, “The award represents a wonderful long term partnership with the PMFRC licensed child care services. Their dedication to serving children and families has resulted in successful integration of many children with special needs.”
Vice-Chair of the County of Renfrew Social Services Committee, Councillor John Reinwald shared this comment, “Delivering child care services in Renfrew County is about team work, to ensure children have the best possible start in life.”
Integration coordinators work with PMFRC licensed child care staff to support individual developmentally appropriate program plans and foster an inclusive environment for all children attending the child care services.
