Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry are asking for the publics assistance in solving a report of the illegal hunting and dumping of a black bear.

Sometime around May 2, 2016, in the afternoon, unknown suspects dumped a black bear carcass off in a sand pit located off mileage 0.5 on the Barron Canyon Road, McKay Township. A yellow coloured Jeep towing a trailer was spotted near the location and evidence at the scene suggests it may be implicated with the crime.
