Cathy Regier put a notice of motion to see about flying the Every Child Matters flag on the National Day of Reconciliation on September 30.

Mayor Moore noted that that was a federal holiday created in light of the discovery of multiple human remains of Indigeous children from residential schools over the last century, origially discovered in Kamloops, BC.

CAO Trembley said that there would be a report on September 15 on the flag.
