This year’s recipient of the Delmer Bennett Memorial Award was Cadence Beck. Cadence is an impressive young woman whose family farm is in the Shawville area. She has participated in numerous 4-H Clubs, the Pontiac Community Players, Destination Leadership Camps as well as several sports teams. Cadence is a graduate of the Renfrew Collegiate and has begun her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Agriculture at Guelph University.
Cadence is being presented with the Award by Gwen Bennett daughter of Delmer Bennett. Applicants for this Award need to be graduates of a high school in Renfrew County and be continuing their education in agriculture.
