It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful death of our beloved brother, Desmond, after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer in Hospice Renfrew on February 6 in his 73rd year. Brother of Jack (Gloria) of Aurora, Colorado; Shirley (the late Bernard) of Delta, B.C.; Tom (Anne) of Pembroke, Marion (Fred) of Cranbrook, B.C.; Jim (Beverley) of Pembroke, Helen (Leo) of Pembroke and Gerard (Kathryn) of Whitby. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Marion (nee Bradley), and by brothers Arnold and Gerard. Respecting Desmond’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Pius V Catholic Church, Osceola at a later date. Interment to follow in St Pius V Catholic Cemetery. At this time, the family would like to thank the medical and volunteer staff at Hospice Renfrew for their compassionate care of Desmond and request that expressions of sympathy in his name be made to Hospice Renfrew.
