WHITEWATER REGION (Pleasant Valley Road) — If you’re driving to or from La Passe on La Passe Road, include time for a detour and slow-downs due to construction.
La Passe Road is scheduled for a four-week construction period starting on Monday, July 24. Road rehabilitation will occur from Lookout Road to Gore Line. While the road will remain open to traffic, it will be reduced to one lane at times with minor delays.
There is also one section of the road that will be closed throughout construction.
A culvert is being replaced at Pleasant Valley Creek, which means La Passe Road will be closed to all traffic between Hawthorne and Pleasant Valley roads. A detour will be in place with vehicles travelling Hawthorne, Desjardins and Pleasant Valley roads.
