Driver sustains life-threatening injures in single vehicle roll-over near Beachburg

WHITEWATER REGION (Beachburg) – A Whitewater Region man remains in hospital following an early-morning collision on Beachburg Road near the intersection of Davidson Road.
On Sunday June 25 at 2:47am officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Beachburg Road. The eastbound Toyota sedan left the roadway, rolled and struck a utility pole.  The 26-year-old male driver from the Township of Whitewater Region, the lone occupant in the vehicle, was taken to hospital by land ambulance. The unidentified man was later airlifted to hospital in critical condition. 
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) were called to the scene and are assisting with the investigation.  As a result of the collision Beachburg Road was closed between La Passe Road and Sturgeon Mountain Road until the early afternoon of June 25.
Police are not releasing the names of the people in the vehicle.
