Children happily gathered at Cobden Park in anticipation of an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4.
However, organizer Susan Gilchrist and her helpers wore off some of the children’s energy with games, such as toss the marshmallow, Easter Bunny says and musical bunny feet.
Split into three groups, the youngsters had opportunity to find the colourful Easter eggs in three areas of the Park.
Once the 600 eggs were found, there was a group photo and while the Easter Bunny scampered off to another event, the children went home.
