The Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approved the appointment of Emily McKenzie to the Whitewater Region Library Board.
Clerk Carmen Miller said that McKenzie was a Beachburg resident with ‘a love of reading’ and experience with library management.
Councillor Nicholson asked if the Board still had vacant positions.
Miller said that she didn’t think there was a cutoff for members, but that the appointment gave them the members to have quorum.
The motion was carried.
