Have you been high over Pembroke, out to Whitewater’s 2000 acres of crown land and over the bridge to Quebec yet?
Do you like to go ATVing?
The last Renfrew County ATV run for the season is this Saturday, titled Showcase the Valley.
Departure is at 10 a.m. from Pembroke ABC Metal on Bennett Street. Return is scheduled for about 5 p.m.
The cost is $20 and includes lunch at Wilderness Tours.
The trail is the CN railbed bridges and trail from Pembroke to Whitewater Region.
There are 2,000 acres of Crown land trails with an opportunity to ATV right over the Ottawa River.
ATV road access has been granted from Holiday Inn and Best Western Pembroke to the trailhead and to access gas.
For those who want more of an adventure, there is 50 percent off accommodations for whitewater rafting and other activities at Wilderness Tours and Horse Country Campground with a two-night minimum stay.
