People started to gather for the fireworks at Cobden Beach in the early evening of Friday, June 30. The fireworks were organized by the Cobden Activities Association and set off by members of Station Two of Whitewater Region Fire Department. There were a few activities to participate in, including enjoying a hamburger or hotdog barbecued up by members of the Cobden and District Civitan Club, making a s’more, getting your face painted or just visiting with friends.
