The Foresters Falls Women’s Institute donated $200 to Hospice Renfrew. Women’s Institute President Joan Smithers presents the cheque to Judy Cobus of Hospice Renfrew. The money was raised by each Women’s Institute Branch in North Renfrew District by selling tickets for the District Quilt Raffle. This year the North Renfrew District Women’s Institute decided to give each W.I. Branch $1,000 to be given to local Charities of our Branch’s choice. Foresters Falls Women’s Institute donated $200 to each of the following local groups recently: Forester’s Falls Athletic Association, Cobden Farmers Market, Whitewater Public Library, Whitewater Fire Department, and Hospice Renfrew.
