Dakota Haines and Ethan Bourgeois are ready to sell the banana chocolate chip muffins they made last Friday. The proceeds from the muffins go to the Cobden Curling Club. Ethan enjoys curling and after hearing the club was in financial trouble, decided to do something to raise money. He and classmate Dakota began baking muffins each Friday at Cobden District Public School in March under the watchful eye of Robin MacKenzie, their education support worker. Knowing they couldn’t make enough for all the students each week, they decided to sell them to a different classroom each week. They are hopeful of raising about $200 by the end of the school year.
