When loved ones are diagnosed with or pass away from cancer, we often want to do something to help or honour them. This April, the Canadian Cancer Society wants the people of Whitewater Region to know that there is something they can do.

This April, by volunteering just a few hours of their time selling Daffodils in support of the Society’s Daffodil Month campaign local residents can save lives and help people who are living with cancer now.

Money raised through Daffodil Month helps local patients and their families living with more than 200 different types of cancer, through life-saving research, support services and funds other important work so that fewer Canadians are touched by the disease.

Volunteers are essential to the success of the Daffodil Month campaign and we are looking for people who can spare a few hours to help out during this critical fundraising time for our organization. Those interested in signing up as a volunteer can register today at myccsschedule.ca or or call our office at 613-735-2571.

Best regards
