BEACHBURG — The Beachburg Fair is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There’s something for everyone.
It begins in the dairy ring at 10 a.m. Friday with the 4H Achievement Day for the dairy and then at 1 p.m. for the beef.
The gates open to the public at 4 p.m. and an hour later the midway and exhibit hall open.
The official opening and crowning of Little Miss and Mr. Beachburg is at 6 p.m. followed by the Demolition Derby and the open Dairy Cattle Show.
The night’s entertainment is by Simon Clarke.
Saturday begins early with a cowboy breakfast served at 8 a.m. Events throughout the day include beef cattle show starting at noon; the monster truck and freestyle motocross shows at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. There will also be professional wrestling.
The evening’s entertainment is provided by Ghost Town Cryers.
And on Sunday, there will be an open-air ecumenical church service at 9 a.m. followed by the 4-H sheep show an hour later. The horse pull begins at noon on the ball diamond.
At 1 p.m., Gail Gavan and Kitchen Party is in the Bavarian Gardens.
The famous barbecued chicken dinner will also be served starting at 3 p.m.
But remember, throughout the weekend, there are free pony rides, exhibits to check out in the exhibit hall as well as in the arena, where there will also be vendors. There are various children’s activities and family entertainment as well.
Admission is $15 on Friday and Saturday and $12 on Sunday.
It’s a fun-time for everyone.
