PEMBROKE –Known to family and friends as Jim, long time sales associate James Allen Ryan was recently honoured by his beloved wife as she donated $5,000 towards MRI: Image Matters.
“We are touched that Liette and her children Jason, Christine and Tracy thought of us to honour Jim,” shared Pierre Noel, President and CEO of Pembroke Regional Hospital. “Gifts like this help leave a lasting legacy for the community to benefit from.”
In real estate for 37 years with Century 21, Mr. Ryan worked tirelessly behind the scenes and helped new homeowners realize their life and dreams in Renfrew County. An avid sports fan and hockey player throughout his life, Mr. Ryan certainly knew the importance of an MRI for Renfrew County.
Executive Director of the PRH Foundation, Nancy Warren, explained the importance of Legacy Planning and Giving.
“Legacy planning is a vital consideration for each person and family,” she said. “Gifts such as this one go a long way to improving the overall access to comprehensive healthcare for the more than 100,000 people our hospital serves.
“This generous gift made in honour of Jim will help strengthen our health care and community for generations to follow, Ms. Warren added.
