WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — A golf tournament was held as a fundraiser for cancer research at the Oaks of Cobden golf course on August 6.
Sponsorship opportunities were unique and included sponsoring a hole in memory of or in support of a fighter.
According to the Oaks of Cobden, the event raised a total of $2.5 thousand dollars and was sponsored, in part, by The Little Coffee Shop, The Scoop and Molson Canada.
