Gouldhaven Farms on the Queens Line was awarded the Master Breeder Shield by Holstein Canada. The presentation took place at a recent convention in Moncton, New Brunswick. The presentation was by Holstein Canada president Mario Perreault and his wife Lynda (both on the outside of the group) to (from left) Scott, Jason, Vera and Barry Gould. In a Jan. 8 story about the Gould’s winning this prestigious award, Jason explained it best. “It’s what we strive for. It’s a goal for anyone interested in breeding cattle. It’s like winning a Stanley Cup.” Scott added, “It’s the top honour in the Holstein industry. It takes a lot of time and hard work.” To read the story about Gouldhaven Farms, please go to January 8, 2015. Photo by Nina Linton/Courtesy of Holstein Canada
