PEMBROKE — The new office of the Canadian Cancer Society office was opened in Pembroke Wednesday morning at 169 William Street.
“This new space will allow us to be more accessible to our community and at the same time make available all the programs and services we offer, such as our Wig Program, Wheels of Hope and more,” said Roger Martin, community manager.
The Canadian Cancer Society is a national community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer, said Leigh Costello, community fundraising specialist.
Other office personnel are Lana Gorr, community engagement specialist and summer receptionist Micaela Cooper.
