Harry Searson of Eganville passed away peacefully at Marianhill in Pembroke on Wednesday, May 13 after a brief illness at 87 years of age. Predeceased by his loving wife, Mary (nee Cuddy) on February 28, 2016. Beloved father of Dan (Sandra) and Michael (Val). Much loved grandfather of Erin (Brendon Clouthier), Heather (Marc Laliberte) and Colleen, and great-grandfather of Levon, Angus and Cormac, and Matti and Cuddy. He will be dearly missed by brother, Ken, of Ottawa, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends and business acquaintances. Born at Hyndford, in Grattan Township, Harry was the son of Edward and Gertrude (Walsh) Searson. He was predeceased by brothers, Greg and Allan, and sisters, Aurelia (Beggan), Rachel (Wagener) and Nellie. Harry’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home in Eganville. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, funeral arrangements will be private. Harry was laid to rest in St. James Cemetery in Eganville on Saturday, May 16. A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Marianhill Foundation or Hospice Renfrew in memory of Harry.
