Women in Whitewater Region had the opportunity to ‘show and tell’ about what they enjoy doing during an International Women’s Day event held in the community hall in the basement of the municipal hall last Thursday. The event was hosted by the Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre. Jo Seggie-Flemming spoke about her sculpture. Tori Hawkins spoke about her love of quilting, bringing quite a few to show. Other interests included knitting, crocheting and painting. The event ended with a delicious pot-luck lunch.
