The Whitewater Historical Society is seeking an interpretative Guide for the Ross Museum in Foresters Falls for the summer.
This is an opportunity for a student to learn about museum management, public service, networking and the history of the region.
The position runs from Monday, May 11 until Sunday, Aug. 30. The rate of pay is $12.60 per hour.
The student must be available to work six days a week, 30 hours per week, have good communication skills, a knowledge of computer programs, ability to take initiative and work alone with the responsibility and security of all museum buildings. The student must also assist in the care of the grounds and property.
A driver’s licence is preferred.
