www.whitewaternews.ca can officially announce through a letter from brothers Terry and Rob Millar that the sale of Millar Feed & Seed has occurred as of a week ago. The business has been purchased by MacEwen Agricentre. The owners are sending this letter to their valued customers and friends and have agreed in future to do a story with www.whitewaternews.ca

Millar Feed & Seed is both happy and excited to announce the sale of our business to MacEwen Agricentre of Maxville, Ontario. We truly believe that this new direction will combine our excellent products and services with the unparalleled support and knowledge of the MacEwen Agricentre team and will herald in an unprecedented level of care and service for the people that matter most to us — you, our customer.
First, let us assure you that Rob, Terry and our staff will remain with the organization to work with the MacEwen team to offer even better service and supplies than you have become accustomed to over the past 33 spectacular years.
We feel that the depth and integrity of the MacEwen Agricentre team is a tremendous leap forward and a welcome addition in an ever-changing, service-orientated marketplace for decades to come. It is with open arms and a warm smile that we officially welcome MacEwen Agricentre into our area. The knowledge that our legacy will continue on in such a progressive manner is both comforting and heartwarming to the entire Millar family.
In the first of many improvements for our service industry, we are also pleased to announce the arrival of our new fertilizer blend facility. Starting this coming season, fertilizer will now be blended on-site with the excellent service and equipment from MacEwen Agricentre.
