Izett McBride of Westmeath, beloved husband of Gail Richardson, died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 78 years. Dearly loved and cherished by children Hugh (Marisa Scaramella), Boston; Kirby (Linda Hanusaik), Boston; & Heidi, Montreal and their mother Ruth McBride; and by stepsons Russell Newall (Cheryl Taylor), Markham; & Trevor Newall (Alleta Thede), Uxbridge. Loving Grandfather of Emma & Charlotte; Joshua, Spencer, Ellie & Nora; and Edward, Ben & Connor; and Evie & Lily. Son of the late Arndell and Ellen McBride (nee Anderson). Brother to Arthur, Shirley, Murray and Gayle Stewart. Predeceased by brother Harry.
Friends shared their memories of Izett with his family during visitation at the Malcolmn, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke on Monday, March 18. A Celebration of Life was held in St. Andrews United Church, Westmeath on Tuesday, March 19, followed by a reception in the upstairs hall of the Westmeath Recreation Centre.
