Julia Irene Elizabeth St. Amand (nee Laundry) accepted the invitation to sit at the Father’s table on Tuesday, March 10 at 96 years of age with her husband Frank, daughter Barbara Darbyson, sons Kenny, Gary and Michael, and grandson Patrick Darbyson. Also at the table are her parents Julia Ann MacNamara and Francis Joseph Laundry, and her brothers and sisters. Patiently waiting for the invite to join the family are Irene’s children, Judy (Dwight) Paquette of Petawawa, Cathy (the late Michael) St. Amand of Pembroke, Gerry (Ruby) of Inuvik, Nancy (the late Daniel) Gauthier of Pembroke, Frank (Ramona) of Petawawa, Leanne (Jeff) Lavallee of Beachburg and Cathy (Gary) Drew of Pembroke. Sadly to be missed by 29 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. The family received relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home on Monday. A Funeral Service was held in the Chapel of the Neville Funeral Home on Tuesday. Interment at St. Columba’s Cemetery in Pembroke. The family would like to thank the staff at Marianhill for their kindness and compassion towards our mom. Irene’s passion in life was her faith in the Lord and the many blessings he bestowed upon her. We love you Mom, more then time. Until we meet again.
