Julie Keon launched her first book, What I Would Tell You, in Cobden Wednesday evening.
People started arriving about 20 minutes before the event at the Whitewater Bromley community Health Centre in Cobden. By 7 p.m., the line-up was quite lengthy with more than 100 people in attendance.
“It was quite overwhelming,” Ms. Keon said, adding, “and exhilarating at the same time!”
People travelled from Norway Bay,Shawville, Pembroke, Renfrew, Ottawa, Barry’s Bay and Wilno.
Ms. Keon stopped signing books and did a reading from the book around 7:30 p.m. Once she finished reading, it back to signing books.
