The Council heard a recommendation that Council of the Township of Whitewater Region award Tender # 2022-14 Supply and Installation of New Chain-Link Fence and Minor Fence Repairs Option 1 to M&R Feeds Micksburg at a submitted price of $8,249.00 (inclusive of HST).
Superintendent Steve Hodson said that new gates would replace the current landfill entrance, which would be locked.
“The gates were in bad repair, so we went with the new option.” he said.
“Staffs recommendation is to go with the lower cost doubleswing gates.”
There were no questions and the motion was carried.
