Further to your article Whitewater’s CAO let go; deputy-CAO is put in charge published June 30, 2016, I have questions.
After reading all the bafflegab about confidentiality, new directions, democracy, etc., I question why this important decision was made when our Mayor was absent? Why did Council act as it did?
I too “love Council to bits” and hope this time around, whoever is involved in the hiring of a new CAO does due diligence conducting background checks, requiring letters of reference and that Renfrew County be kept out of the deliberations.
