If there are any beef farmers who are Canadian Football League fans in our readership, or if you know a fan, this story is for you.
Beef Farmers of Ontario, together with Canada Beef, are travelling Ontario in August to engage consumers and beef-loving football fans at three CFL football games to promote beef and the farmers who work so hard to produce.
In the Ontario Beef magazine, LeaAnne Wuermli wrote: We are in search of enthusiastic beef farmers who are willing to share their stories about what makes them the Most Valuable Producer (MVP) to represent the Ontario Beef Industry.
BFO will select three winning families from across the province. Each will receive tickets to a 2015 Ontario CFL game, coverage of accommodations and travel expenses to the game, a family football prize pack, stadium recognition during the game, a pre-game VIP tour, a profile in Ontario Beef magazine and of course bragging rights.
Submit either a 200 word entry or a one minute video telling BFO why you should be named MVP for the Ontario beef industry and you could be off to see the CFL’s finest.
Let us know how you support your industry and community, how you incorporate technology and innovation into your farm and how you care for your animals and your land 365days a year.
Nominations are also welcome.
Deadline to submit entries is Friday, July 10, 2015.

The summer schedule is Ottawa Redblacks on Friday, Aug. 7; Hamilton Tiger Cats on Saturday, Aug. 15 and Toronto Argonauts on Sunday, Aug. 23.
