COBDEN — A Whitewater Region Township resident is going to receive a letter advising her letter was read by council.
Louise Deschambault sent a letter advising she was not happy with the large, frosted glass partition that was put up in the main office, separating staff from the public.
“I believe the glass partition is not a pleasant welcome,” she wrote. “This office has always been respective to its constituents. This glass partition is more for jails.
“Please remove same.”
When Mayor Jim Labow asked council members at yesterday’s meeting to comment, all were silent.
Christine FitzSimons, chief administrative officer, said she will send a letter advising Ms. Deschaumbault her letter was received and filed.
