Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and support. It’s been overwhelming. Marc’s passing is a painful reminder that our kids are only on loan to us and the time is never enough.
Brothers Joel and Joseph landed in Japan last Monday evening. A heartfelt thanks to friends Steve Orton, Byron Corbett (who was skiing with Marc) and Brad Morrison from the Canadian Consulate in Tokyo who assisted the brothers in this difficult, emotional task. There was a funeral service in Japan and cremation. Joel and Joseph arrived home with Marc late last night.
We will be saying goodbye to Marc and celebrating his life with visitation at Murphy Funeral Home in Pembroke, Wednesday March 23rd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. On Thursday there will be a funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in LaPasse followed by a reception at the church hall. Later that afternoon, everyone is invited to Whitewater Brewery at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Marc’s son Dylan’s trust fund would be appreciated.
