Of Beachburg, passed away peacefully in Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in her 81st year. Marie De Wal, nee Hagedoorn, beloved wife of Jacob De Wal. Dearly loved mother of Helen Freake, Alberta; Wilma Kuiper, Kanata; Edwin (Kerri), Pembroke and David (Valerie), Kingston. Cherished grandmother of Pamela, Andrew, Emily, Benjamin, Khloe and great-grandmother of Riley. Also survived by 1 sister, Griet de Wind in Holland. Sister-in-law of Hotze (Wilma) De Wal, Albertje (Eyzenga); Barrie Davies, (late Geziena); Jan De Wal (late Charlie); Hendrikje and Arend Streutker. Predeceased by granddaughter Kelsey Freake, her parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Friday October 31, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held in Zion Christian Reformed Church, Drive-In Road, Pembroke on Saturday November 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Beachburg Union Cemetery.
