Well-known author Mary Cook was the guest speaker at the Mother’s Day Tea held at Caressant Care Retirement Home Tuesday afternoon. In 1940/41, her family moved off the farm and that’s what she spoke about for 45 minutes. There was about 100 people who enjoyed the tea, desserts and Ms. Cook’s stories.
