WHITEWATER REGION (Beachburg) — Mayor Michael Moore presented a certificate honouring the 60 year anniversary of the Beachburg Horticultural Society to president Lawrie Barton, at the society’s fall flower and vegetable show at the Lions Club Hall on Saturday, September 7. The champion bloom of the show was awarded to Melissa Bennett’s, “Datura” that had several beautiful blooms.
