RENFREW COUNTY— John Yakabuski, Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry, will celebrate National Forest Week in Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke on Thursday, September 26.
Minister Yakabuski will take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour at
Lavern Heideman & Sons at 10:00 a.m. The Minister will then tour the Forestry Technician program at Algonquin College, Pembroke Campus at 1:15 p.m.
Finally, Minister Yakabuski will tour and christen a boat at Shaw Woods Outdoor Education Centre at 3:00 p.m. CSA approved footwear is required at the sawmill.
