During the week of the 5th of September to the 7th of September, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment investigated 127 incidents including domestics, mischiefs and motor vehicle collisions.
Motor vehicle collisions
During the week of the 5th of September to the 7th of September, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment investigated 6 motor vehicle collisions. 5 were property damage and 1 personal injury.
Domestics
During the week of the 5th of September to the 7th of September, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment investigated 4 domestics’ disputes. As a result:
• One adult male has been charged with Assault contrary to the Criminal Code
• One adult male was charged with Assault and Forcible Confinement contrary to the Criminal Code
• One adult female was charged with Assault contrary to the Criminal Code
Mischief
• On Sept 5 a report was filed in which a hood was dented on the roof of a vehicle that had been parked on Pembroke St. East in the City of Pembroke. P/C Cosmo Longo is the investigating officer.
• P/C Derrek Janveau is the investigating officer in a report of vandalism to a window on Isabella St. in the City of Pembroke. The report was filed on Sept. 6.
• On Sept. 6, police were advised that a vehicle had been located burnt at the very south end of Elgin St. in Laurentian Valley Twp. P/C Claude Chartrand is the investigating officer.
Theft
On Sept. 7, a report was filed of a theft of licence plate off a vehicle that had been parked on Moss Drive in the City of Pembroke. P/C Tracey McDonald was the investigating officer.
Dispute
• On Sept. 5, police were advised of a dispute on Pembroke St. East in the City of Pembroke. As a result 49 year old Steven Duchesne of Laurentian Valley Twp. has been charged with Assault with A Weapon, Assault and Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge contrary to the Criminal Code. P/C Wayne Desjardins is the investigating officer.
• P/C John Kirbyson is the investigating officer in a report of a dispute on Sheppard Ave. in the City of Pembroke. As a result charges are pending against an 18 year old male for Possession of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Assault contrary to the Criminal Code. The report was filed on Sept.7.
RIDE
During Sept. 5 to 7, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment conducted 4 RIDE programs. No charges were laid as a result.
