On Monday, Sept. 14, members of the Renfrew County National Farmers members met with Dan McCarthy, who is New Democratic Party candidate in the upcoming federal election for Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke. The event was a dinner meeting followed by discussion. Members of the RC NFU Local 330 are hoping to meet with each of the candidates in the current federal election. They have met with the Liberal and New Democratic Party candidates and are meeting with the Indpendent candidate on Sept. 28. There is still hope a meeting will occur with the Green, Conservative and Libertarian party candidates.
